She travels throughout the US and internationally to provide organizational development programs with a focus on service learning, 21st century competencies, social and emotional realms, climate and culture, youth engagement, effective teacher strategies, and environmental sustainability. Recently, Cathryn has worked with the teachers of Singapore American School and Jakarta International School.Cathryn also works with the marine environmental group EarthEcho International, founded by siblings Philippe and Alexandra Cousteau in honor of their father Philippe Cousteau Sr., famous son of the legendary explorer Jacques Yves Cousteau. To give you an idea of Cathryn’s impact on schools all over the world, I looked at her schedule for the month of October this year. She started with a development program for schools in Hawaii; then on to the American International School of Johannesburg; back to the US to present at a conference at UCLA; next to the Hague to consult at an IB Conference; finally to Sumatra to share her expertise with us. |
