Dear Community Members,
Next week the school will be participating in a Friendship Week! Throughout the week, each class will integrate the idea of friendship into a lesson to help students see the importance of maintaining and building relationships.

During the week, we will also have a "Make a Wish Tree" and would like to invite you to participate! Students, parents and teachers will have the opportunity to fill out their "wish card" and place it on the Wish Tree. The wish will be something that a friend, schoolmate or community member can grant during the week. For example, "I wish someone would play catch with me at recess," or "I wish someone would show me how to jump rope." By the end of the week, everyone will have the opportunity to grant and have a wish fulfilled. What a great way to build friendships and community!

If you are interested in participating, you can find the Make a Wish cards in the office. We are looking forward to working with everyone to make our community even stronger.
